Something New in Something Old. Babies 11 & 12

Welcome back to the Zane House! In the last post I forgot to mention the name
of China's dad and who he was created by..
So this is Kale Summers and he was created by FuryRed. :)

Ever since Kale, China's father, accompanied Adalyn home from the hospital, he hadn't left.
He floated around the house for days, talking to the children and mostly taking
quick cat naps. Adalyn actually really liked having a man around, even though he wasn't
technically alive. For once she had a companion, someone to talk to after
a long day cleaning up and taking care of kids.

Greyson automatically had a stern attachment to his new baby sister, China. He
had no trouble helping out with tending to the little invisible baby's needs.
She was often snuggled tightly in her loving brother's arms.
"Good girl, China. Eat up so you can be big and strong!"

Aurora and Sunni were definitely TV buddies. They always rushed to the telly
as soon as they got home from school to share some laughs and watch their favorite
programs.

"Ugh, can you believe that, scum?! He actually believes he can get away with cheating!"
Sunni exclaimed.
"Well.. I don't know. I actually feel kinda bad ever since he lost that pinky toe.
I'd probably cheat to if I lost a limb." Aurora beckened.
The two were absorbed in their afternoon soap operas.

Adalyn was eager to age up China, to actually see what she would look like.
She gently held the newborn in her arms and blew out the one candle.
Kale cheered in his ghostly voice, "Woooooo!"

China was DARLING! She had snowy white skin, probably from being half ghost,
black hair, and shiney light brown caramel eyes that she probably got from her father
when he was once human. Adalyn gathered her hair into two little pony tails that she tied
with green ribbons and she wore a cute toddler track suit.

China wasn't really one for learning her required lessons to enter the next stage
of life. Adalyn thought it was because she was babyed by everyone in the house.
She was the only toddler in the home and all the older kids constantly played with her.

"No, mama! I no pee-pee!" China squeeled as Adalyn tried to secure her on the training
potty.

When China wasn't fussing, she was actually very precious. She loved giving
her mommy warm hugs and sweet kisses.

Adalyn and China mostly spent their days around town, playing music so they could
get tips. It really was hard not having a well paying job but Adalyn was determined to give
her kids everything that they needed.

"Look what mom made for you, China! Gobble it up." Adalyn gave the little one her morning
feed.
China quickly dug her hands into the delicious mash her mother made her every morning.

Even though Adalyn loved having Kale around, he often scared some of the kids with his mysterious
ghost language and walking through walls. She knew she had to talk to him about leaving
the house. It broke her heart though, she was falling for him more and more with
every passing day.

One afternoon Kale gathered Adalyn up in a loving kiss as their precious
daughter sat on the floor. She loved that China had her dad around and that he could constantly give
her care. But she knew that this wasn't fair to the other children and it often made
them flame with jealousy.

"Kale, I love having you around and you're very good for China.. but I think it's time for you
to go. It breaks my heart to see my other children wish for their own fathers. And it's against
my baby challenge rules." Adalyn slowly said as the two embraced.
Kale nodded his head slowly, wishing he could say something but knew it was
useless. Adalyn couldn't understand his ghostly sounds.

The two held hands for the last time and swayed back and forth. They smiled.
Maybe one day they could be together for real. After Adalyn passes.

Kale gave Adalyn one last hug filled with love. He wanted nothing more then to be
with her, and his little daughter that he loved so much. He knew over time though, that he would
eventually see them both once again. After the deep hug, Kale Summers was suddenly........

Gone. With a poof, he vanished. Adalyn stood their awkwardly, not knowing what to do next.
A man she had loved so much was suddenly.. just. Gone.

She tried hard not to cry, she didn't want China to see her. She promised herself
after she left mortality she would find her love. And be with him once again.
But for now she would love all of her children dearly and devote her life to what she was born
for. The 100 baby challenge.

Adalyn decided to bring China to the beach. It was such a soothing place
that would help wash away the aching feeling of miss for Kale.

"Come here, beautiful. Oh, good girl. You're learning to walk so fast." Adalyn smiled
at her 10th little baby. Soon it would be baby 50.

Adalyn picked China up and looked into her pretty caramel eyes. She reminded her so much of Kale.
And she acted like him too. It saddened her to think that this little girl would never see her father again.
But it was the right thing to do. And no matter what, China would grow into a healthy and happy
adult.

After they got back from the beach, it was time for the triplets to morph into young adults!
First up was Sunni. The child that always shines bright. She blew hard onto her candles and thought
of the perfect wish to make.

Next up was Theo. Adalyn watched and thought of how much of a handsome boy he
had turned out to be.

Last but not least, Greyson.
"He has such a good soul, and even though he hides it from most, I know he'll make
an amazing difference to the world." Adalyn thought to herself.

Sunni was with no doubt, breath taking. She had Adalyn face shape and lips. And a very
slim and pixie-like nose that barely turned up in the front. She gathered her slightly wavy hair
into a half pony so it would no longer fly in her face like it did when she was a teen.

Theo looked so much like his father. He had his white-blonde hair and some of his features.
He would definitely be a huge lady's man. Adalyn knew he had a great heart.

Greyson no longer had the mad look on his face he had when he was a child and teen.
He didn't really resemble Adalyn, or his father. He was the first child that didn't look anything
like Adalyn.

"I'm gonna miss you little sis! Maybe when you grow up you can come live with me and
your brothers. I love you, China!"

"Oh, goodbye, my sweet boys! No matter what, always remember the life lessons you have learned
and always make thoughtful decisions. And always look out for your sister, Sunni. Remember, and don't
you dare forget, family is everything." Adalyn fed the wise words to her young sons.

After saying their goodbyes, the Zane family's first set of triplets set off into their new lives.

The girls begged Adalyn for a sliding poll in their room that would take them into
the living room. Adalyn thought it could cause no harm so she called and had one installed.
Skylar did mostly everything with a know-it-all look on her face. It was just part of becoming
a teenager.

Thinking she knew exactly how to do it, she plopped hard on her butt and stood up quickly,
embarassed, and fleed the scene.

Adalyn also decided to invest in another new toy the kids were begging for.

A trampoline! Leliana and Skylar would jump around for hours, seeing who could
jump the highest.

After awhile, China finally took to using her potty. Adalyn no longer had to struggle to get
the little tyke to potty like a big girl.

... But of course she still had her crying fits for attention..

Adalyn also made another purchase, a washer and drying machine! This was obviously something
the Zane's would constantly needed. At first Adalyn tried trudging to the laundry mat to do the family's laundry but it soon became too much.

"Wash, wash, wash! WASH the dirt away!" Adalyn actually kind of enjoyed doing laungry. It gave her an
oppurtunity to get a way for a couple of hours to think.

There was another new thing Adalyn recently took up; Inventing. After spending basically all of the family funds on the new gadgets, she knew she had to make some more money somehow. So she got her tools
out and got to work.

She dreamed of eventually making a time machine so she could possibly find a in the future, or past,
that might need her nurturing. And it's one less pregnancy she would have to have!

"Say clown, China. Cloooooown." Adalyn encouraged.
"C-c-clooooown! Clown!" China chirped.
"Yes that's right, silly goose." Adalyn smiled.

Aurora was quite the little slob. Everytime Adalyn would tell her to do the dishes, she would
lick the plate clean instead.

"Ah laundry so worth it!" Adalyn was delighted with her first batch of clean laundry.

With all the spaces in the house, Adalyn knew it was time to start filling it up with little pitter
pattering feet again. So she spent the morning on the computer, setting up a blog about her baby challenge. She quickly got an email and got his address.

\
She arrived at an insanely familiar house and was greeted by a strange, feline man. He had cat ears
and a tail.
"Hey there, sir. You sent me an email about my challenge. I'm Adalyn Zane." Adalyn introduced herself.
"Well, hi! You're quite more beautiful then the pictures I might say. My name Snowball." The interesting man replied.

Before going inside with Snowball, Adalyn took another look at the house. It was the house that she first started her challenge in and the house her first children, Zevran and Riku spent most of their childhood in.
She was absolutely delighted. This is where it had all began.

The two hit it off very nicely and Adalyn could completely be herself around him.
They joked around and Adalyn made a goofy face at Snowball.

And Snowball made an equally as funny face.

"You're very pretty, Adalyn. I think we'll make delightful children together." Snowball said.
The two were obviously into eachother and it didn't take awhile for things to start
getting sensual.

"Oooooh, that feels puuuur-fect." Snowball purred.
Adalyn gave the most amazing back rubs ever, she was a good flirt after all.

After helping Snowball to relax, Adalyn gave him a shy and tender kiss.
Snowball's cheeks flushed and he couldn't wait to woohoo.

Adalyn thought it was pretty funny that this was her old bed. Even the side she slept
on when she lived in this house! It was actually pretty comforting and she was glad that she could
make baby 11 in a place that she knew well.

With the first try, they heard the lullaby of baby 11.
Adalyn smiled with satisfaction.

After the deed was done, Adalyn headed to the junkyard to collect some scrap for her
latest inventions.
It surprisingly wasn't as bad as she thought it was going to be, digging through trash and all.
It was actually pretty relaxing.

"When could I ever use this?" Adalyn questioned to herself.

Adalyn took to inventing pretty fast and it didn't take long for her to start improving.
It seemed like every day she was gaining a higher level.

Because there wasn't really any teens in the house anymore and Adalyn had been
focusing on inventing so much, the family garden had been abadoned. Adalyn had to work hard
to get the garden back into it's normal tip-top shape.

Since Adalyn had been so busy with house chores and getting money for the family, the girls
always promised to help with China.
"Here ya go, sis!" Aurora said as she gave China her nightly feed.

Adalyn always read as much as she could before bed to help with her
skill building.

Before long, morning sickness kicked in. Pregnancy always has it's down sides.

In the middle of the afternoon, Adalyn got a plesant surprise. She could now see her
barely bulging tummy. She couldn't wait to hold her new little addition to the family
in her arms.

"Oh, I'm so proud of you, China!"
China had finally learned all of her life skills and was ready for the next
stage.

"Tickle tickle!" Adalyn loved having her usual playtime with her little girl.

She also loved inventing new twos for China, and her future children.

China absolutely loved the little robotic dog toy her mother made her.
She would sit outside while her older sisters would swing and play with it for hours.
Everyone found it completely adorable.

"Ruff ruff!"

Adalyn tried to keep the day away for as long as could, but she couldn't wait any longer.
It was time for China to become a child.
She held her loving daughter in her arms and helped her blow at her birthday candles.

"Mommy, look! I sparkle." China exclaimed as she began to be covered by the birthday
sparkles.

Just like when she was a toddler, China was so precious. Adalyn couldn't help but keep
her familiar ponytails tied with little ribbons.
She had the same beautiful pale skin and glowing honey caramel eyes.

China loved jumping on the trampoline. She could jump for hours and would always
shut her eyes when she got too high.

But she wasn't always the most careful..

When she didn't have much luck with the trampoline she would result to the chess
table. China was quite the little genius!

When the girls were sound asleep, Adalyn would go up and down the sliding poll.
It was actually quite fun.

Since there were no babies to attend to, Adalyn devoted most of her days to inventing
and the house chores.

While working on her latest invention, Adalyn suddenly felt a gush of water.
Her water had broken! She rushed to the hospital.

Upon arrival, she noticed an old man, panicing with worry for Adalyn being in labor.
Adalyn found it very humorous how everyone else always freaked out when
she was in labor.

Snowball showed up to the hospital. And ran right up to the doors.

But then got right back in his car and drove home. Maybe nerves got the best of
him.
This worried Adalyn a little bit.

Introducing Liryn Zane! (Thanks to Sol!)
A precious little boy that actually wasn't invisible.

And Jasper Zane! (Thanks to Sol)
It was also another little boy that seemed to be filled with giggles.
Adalyn couldn't wait to see how the twins would turn out.
